Plan Your Reading — Beat the Weather!

This winter is shaping up to be a brutal one!

For the safety of our patrons and staff, Coudersport Public Library follows the Coudersport School District during periods of inclement weather. If the schools are closed, the Library is as well. If the schools are under a delay, the Library is under a delay of the same duration. Weekend delays and closures are determined by the Library staff.

Weather-related schedule changes are posted on our Facebook page during the week and on the weekends, and announced on WFRM during the week when possible. If you’re not certain, it’s a good idea to give us a call at 814-274-9382 before setting out when the snow and ice are piling up.

Why not make a practice of getting your reading material early? If bad weather is predicted, visit us ahead of time. And remember, if patrons who have an e-reader can download ebooks for free by visiting our website’s “Ebranch 2 Go” link and entering their patron barcode (ask us if you’re not sure what it is). With a little planning, you’ll never have to go without reading material on a cold winter day!
