Books Unlimited Coming Up Oct. 27!

If you don’t have your tickets yet, better stop in at the Library and get them right now, because fantastic items just keep rolling in for the upcoming Books Unlimited Gala & Auction! This year’s event will be held Friday, Oct. 27, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the St. Eulalia Parish Center.

If you plan to donate an item, service or make a monetary donation toward the event, now’s the time — the deadline is Friday, Oct. 13! Our display at the front of the Library is getting lots of attention, and there’s much more great merchandise just waiting to be viewed on the night of the event! Pictured on the display are an Amish rocker with various locally handmade stuffed animals, a hand-quilted. appliqued Rooster tablecloth, Pumpkin Spice basket, “Your Favorite Little Girl’s Basket”, wooden wine rack and a gourd fairy house. The Americana basket and star, framed print and framed counted cross-stich are resting on a beautiful Mission-style library table, which comes with a chair.

We’ve been told that Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres tickets and memorabilia are coming, as are Pittsburgh Pirates items and golf memorabilia! There’ll be something for everyone!

Scrumptious heavy hors d’oeuvres and desserts, made by George Buchsen and crew, are again on the menu for this year’s event. Don’t miss this opportunity for fun, food, fellowship and fundraising! Books Unlimited is the major annual fundraiser for Coudersport Public Library, with proceeds going toward the daily expenses which keep the doors open, the utilities running and the shelves filled with books, DVDs, periodicals and more!
